Joinery Knife

These Joinery Knives are hand made in house at Vesper Tools and are the workhorse of the marking out stable. 

Useful for everything from marking out joinery work to even cutting paper or veneer.  The 3.0mm thick arrow head blade has a flat back and a beveled front much like a chisel profile, in use it's the flat side that goes against your square, bevel, or ruler blade for marking to ensure the line goes EXACTLY where you want it.

The Joinery Knife is hand polished with several coats of shellac for a beautiful finish. 

195mm long overall.  The blade is 3mm thick making it very robust for general workshop use.  Useful for marking out most dovetail and joinery work where that thickness blade will fit.  Because of its strength and handle size it is useful in place of a set of skew chisels for cleaning out the last of dovetail waste that your regular chisels won't reach. 

Available in the standard figured Tasmanian Blackwood.

Or your choice of several timber in the Mid Range category, Curly Maple, Tiger Myrtle, Olive Wood, Hairy Oak, and others depending on production. 

Or the Premium range made from the 10,000 yr old Black Red Gum timber. 

Sometimes other Premium timbers such as Ringed Gidgee, Ringed Wilga, Lace Sheoak, and other Australian native or exotic species available off the shelf or to order.
