These Hand Tool and Woodworking events for 2017 Vesper Tools will be exhibiting at. Updated regularly. Do check back.
The large wood show format here in Australia is evolving and seemingly falling by the wayside. Vesper Tools has made the decision for 2017 to attend only smaller more personal format woodworking events.
Many factors are influencing this decision are felt in woodworking around the globe. The market has changed over 20 years since the rise of the internet making the show format less essential to consumers, plus the rise and rise of costs to attend large shows is an impossible imposition on small businesses like us. Why would someone attend and buy things at a large show when they can read multiple reviews online, shop for best price delivered to the door?! This is the reality of consumer goods, not so relevant to hand made heirloom quality woodworking hand tools but relevant to exhibitions in general.
I do hope to see you all somewhere at one of these welcoming events.
